Hey Fam,​

I am going on maternity leave a little earlier than I originally planned.

It has not been an easy decision, and it has taken us a long time to decide what is best for this business and our family. As of right now, I don't have plans to sell baked goods until next year.

 

I am so grateful for all of the support. We have grown so fast--more than I could have imagined and hoped for in less than 12 months. I feel very conflicted because I know if I ride this momentum, big things would be happening... but, ultimately, I want to be available for my children, who are so little right now and need their mama.

When I open back up next year, things might be a little different to fit where we are in our lives, but so that I can still provide you with the best sourdough bagels. I pray and hope you will be as excited as I will be to bake for you again. Until then friends, please take care.
